Had a great gig last night with the WestEnders at the Corn Exchange in Newbury. It’s always such fun to do these concerts – mainly because it’s great to perform together when you’re all friends, feel comfy with each other, and you can just enjoy it.
The others (not myself or Mr Shirvell sadly…) had just got back from a 10day cruise on the Sapphire Princess, in the south Pacific. Hard life, isn’t it?! Hopefully there’ll be some more cruises in the not too distant future, as it’s been AGES since I’ve done one.
Then today has been a Norway-type day. It’s Norway’s national day, do I have been performing some sections of the ‘Terje Vigen’ (www.terjevigen.com) musical that I have been involved with for some time. A slightly damp appearance in Southwark Park, and this evening a (hopefully!) dryer one at the In & Out Club in central London. We shall see!
